DOB 05/12/1962

Joined Founder (1980)

Born, May 12, 1962, he is the lead guitarrist in Bad Religion and contributes to most of the lyrics. Mr. Brett founded Epitaph Records back in 1981 to produce their albums. Epitaph now is one of the biggest labels around, and has virtually no competition on the Punk Rock scene. During the "Stranger than Fiction" tour in 1994, he left the band to be replaced by Brian Baker, and started a new band; Daredevils. He rejoined Bad Religion in 2001, a few months before their release of the album "The Process of Belief" in 2002. In 2003 he started another band called Error as a side-project to Bad Religion together with his also-punk-legend friends Atticus Ross, Leopold Ross and Greg Puciato. He has also played a HUGE role on the development of major punk bands in his record label such as NOFX, Rancid, Pennywise, and Millencolin.
