A Christmas Place was founded by David Shindler in 1970. His greatest wish was to form his own company and be his own boss, which he did. His favorite holiday has been Christmas ever since he watched the way his mother would decorate the tree, and set up the house for the season, as a child. He felt like nothing else in the world could make him happier at that instant. David Shindler was only 21 when he started his dream of managing his own business.
