Haitian-Dominican Relations Strained by Protests
     The Haitian government put together violent protests that forced the president of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez, to cut short his visit to Haiti. This contributing to the already known tensions about the treatment of Haitian immigrants among the two countries.
