Fall Out Boy started to perform at numerous shows and gigs. One well known gig for example, South by Southwest. South by Southwest is where bands go to learn details of the business of music. After the success of Take This to Your Grave, Fall Out Boy went into their studio to start recording their second album, From Under the Cork Tree. This year Fall Out Boy, along with four other bands, Panic! At the Disco, The Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, and Boys Night Out, will be headlining the 3rd annual Nintendo Fusion Tour.
The Starting Line originally started in 1999. However, their name was not yet The Starting Line, it was Sunday Drive. Soon enough the band started playing gigs and recording demos. “We The People” then took notice to them and offered them a deal. At the same time another record label, Drive Thru Records saw a huge project to work with. Sunday Drive, then accepted Drive Thru Records deal, because of their well-known name. By 2000, the band was then known as The Starting Line. Their first album to be released was Say It Like You Mean It. The album did fairly well on MTV2, while still having support from their amazing fans. As of now the band consists of four talented members. Kenny, Mike, Matt, and Tom. The Starting Line has been well known to tour on the Vans Warped Tour, they have toured with them three times in total. The Starting Line has recently released a new album, entitled, Based on A True Story. They plan on touring on the Vans Warped Tour next year, and are currently on The Nintendo Fusion Tour.
Motion City Soundtrack is one of many bands performing on the Nintendo Fusion Tour. Beginning in Minneapolis in 1999, Motion City had a very unique sound to their music. The lead singer and guitarist is Justin Pierre, bassist, Matt Taylor, guitarist, John Cain, drummer, Tony Thaxton, and a moogist (which most bands fail to have), Jesse Johnson. Two years ago, they released their first album, I Am the Movie. Last year, by way of unrelenting schedule they kept behind I Am the Movie, the band was asked to join Blink-182 on a tour of Europe and then Japan. One day backstage the band members were talking with Mark (bassist from Blink-182), and became good friends with him. Mark helped them with their record contract, and encouraged the band to go on with their career. Now with their number 1 single “The Future Freaks Me Out”, Justin says that the crowd is singing the song louder then him at every show.

Many fans of Boys Night Out also like to listen to Brand New and Coheed & Cambria. Boys Night Out returned to wax in April 2004 with the slicker and more melodic Make Yourself Sick. It featured meant to be funny song titles like "I Got Punched in the Nose for Sticking My Face in Other People's Business”. Many people believe that Trainwreck, their new album helped the band grow up, and sound more mature.
Panic! at the Disco is a rock, big beat, and techno musical group from Las Vegas, Nevada. He was sure of it, that these boys had talent, and needed to get signed. After Pete signed them they started to record an album. There album was released in 2005 and is entitled, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. Although Panic! At the Disco is new to the business they sure aren’t showing it. They are naturals, most will say. You can find Panic! At the Disco touring with their pals of Fall Out Boy, The Starting Line, Boys Night Out, and Motion City Soundtrack.
