Norva Records was founded in the winter of 2004 by Andy Travieso and Kaitlin Robinson. The whole idea of the label started with Andy and Kaitlins love for all types of music. Bands like Folly, Whole Wheat Bread and Madison were one of the first artists on Norva records. Now bands like Zao, Circa Survive and The Receiving End of Sirens have signed on. Norva has already developed working relationships with successful labels like, Drive-Thru, Victory Records, Eulogy Records and The Militia Group. Touring and web exposure have helped The Norva records family a great deal. The Vans Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos and with the help of Myspace have helped to expand its operation to accommodate growing volumes of new business. The name Norva derived from a venue marquee in southern Illinois during a Madison/Armor for sleep tour, at the time the label was in its earlier stages under ONElabel records. Constant work and time have been put in to make Norva one of the pioneers in the music industry.
